SharePoint Online / Power Platform Modernization Consultant Microsoft Access to Microsoft 365 Modernization Project Summary We are supporting a customer in modernizing a legacy Microsoft Access 2003 inventory management application into a secure, scalable, and maintainable Microsoft 365 solution operating entirely within a government cloud environment. The existing application supports day-to-day operational activities including: Warehouse locations Personnel assignments General inventory Serialized inventory Workflow processes Reporting and audit tracking The objective is to modernize the existing system using: SharePoint Online Power Apps Power Automate Microsoft 365 while preserving existing business functionality and improving maintainability, governance, security, workflow automation, and reporting. We are seeking experienced Microsoft 365 and Power Platform professionals who have modernized legacy business applications and possess hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Access modernization, InfoPath replacement, Nintex modernization, or enterprise workflow automation initiatives. --- What We Need Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Online Experience Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting: SharePoint Online Microsoft 365 SharePoint permissions and governance Information architecture Metadata strategies Document libraries Records management --- Power Platform Experience Hands-on experience developing and supporting: Power Apps Power Automate Approval workflows Inventory management applications Audit and reporting solutions SharePoint-integrated business applications --- Modernization Experience We are particularly interested in candidates with experience performing activities such as: Microsoft Access to Power Platform modernization InfoPath to Power Apps modernization Nintex to Power Automate modernization SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online migration Legacy workflow modernization Business process automation --- Architecture & Design Experience The ideal candidate should be comfortable with: Current-state assessment Future-state architecture design Data modeling Workflow design Governance planning Solution documentation --- Project Scope The selected consultant(s) will support activities such as: Assessment & Discovery Analyze existing Access database structures Assess current business processes Review workflows, forms, and reporting requirements Develop future-state architecture recommendations Modernization Configure SharePoint Online structures Develop Power Apps interfaces Develop Power Automate workflows Configure reporting and audit capabilities Implement document management components Validation & Transition Support testing activities Address defects and enhancements Develop documentation Support training and knowledge transfer --- Desired Certifications The following certifications are highly desirable: Microsoft 365 MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Power Platform PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect Expert PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate PL-900 Power Platform Fundamentals Azure AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate SharePoint MCSE SharePoint MCITP Enterprise Administrator SharePoint Administrator credentials Demonstrated SharePoint Online expertise --- Work Authorization Requirements Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
