Shopify Developer Needed for Ongoing Work (Initial Tasks Due by 20 June) We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer for an immediate project, with the potential for ongoing work if the relationship is a good fit. The initial tasks below must be completed no later than 20 June and should be considered an example of the type of ongoing work we regularly require. Initial Tasks 1. Create & Implement Landing Pages We have prepared landing page designs and content which will be provided to shortlisted applicants. Requirements: Build and implement the landing pages within our existing Shopify theme. Categories shown on the landing pages should be added as subcategories beneath existing collections, not as new top-level navigation categories. Remove the logo from the landing page templates (the logo already appears in the site header). On the Festival page, replace the scarf image with the provided scarf video. 2. Product Collection Sorting Automation Review and implement a solution that automatically organises products within collections based on: Popularity Sales performance Other relevant metrics 3. Store Audit Review the website and provide recommendations regarding: Outdated apps Unnecessary apps Theme limitations Technical issues Performance improvements Conversion optimisation opportunities 4. Product Availability Logic Fix Currently, some products display as "Sold Out" even when other variants remain available. Example: If one colour is sold out but other colours remain in stock, the product should: Remain visible in collections Remain purchasable Only disable the unavailable colour variants This issue requires investigation and correction. Proposal Requirements Please provide: Whether each task is possible for you to complete Whether you recommend an app, automation or custom coding Estimated hours required for each task Expected completion timeframe Any ongoing costs (app subscriptions, licensing fees, etc.) Please provide realistic estimates. Work will be approved based on agreed budgets and timelines, and additional hours must not be incurred without prior approval. Ongoing Work Available Successful completion of this project may lead to ongoing work, including: Landing pages Theme customisations Shopify automations Conversion rate optimisation Product page improvements Collection management App integrations Performance optimisation Custom Shopify functionality What We Expect We are looking for a long-term developer who: Communicates clearly Provides accurate estimates before commencing work Gives regular progress updates Keeps track of completed, pending and in-progress tasks Works only within the approved theme/environment Raises questions early when requirements are unclear Advises before exceeding estimated hours We are obtaining quotes from multiple Shopify developers, so proposals should be commercially competitive and realistic.
