About the Project We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor specializing in short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Your role will be to take raw footage, concept outlines, or AI-generated visual assets and turn them into highly engaging, scroll-stopping videos that drive views, engagement, and conversions. Key Responsibilities - Video Editing & Cutting: Trim and assemble raw footage into dynamic, fast-paced 15- to 60-second clips optimized for social media. - Visual Engagement: Add dynamic text overlays, animated captions, emojis, and B-roll to maintain high viewer retention rates. - Audio & Sound Design: Select and sync trending music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the emotional impact and algorithmic reach of the videos. - Trend Integration: Stay up-to-date with current TikTok and Instagram Reels trends, transitions, and editing styles to keep the content relevant and engaging. - Format Optimization: Ensure all exports are perfectly formatted for mobile viewing (9:16 aspect ratio, high resolution, clear safe zones). Requirements - Proven experience specifically editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts. - Proficiency in modern editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or advanced CapCut). - A strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and knowing how to hook a viewer in the first 3 seconds. - Reliable communication and the ability to meet fast turnaround times.
