Short-Form Video Editor

We're looking for a dedicated, full-time video editor to join our team and produce high-volume, scroll-stopping short-form content for social media. This is NOT a freelance gig - we want someone who becomes part of the team, works consistent hours, and grows with us long-term. WHAT YOU'LL DO EVERY DAY • Edit 8 short-form videos per day • Receive pre-made, pre-cut raw footage — your job is to transform it into viral-ready content • Apply dynamic captions using Submagic (provided) or similar tools • Add sound effects, zooms, transitions, b-roll overlays, and visual hooks • Optimize every video for maximum watch time and retention • Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent editing style • Communicate daily with the team, deliver on time, and iterate on feedback quickly WHAT WE PROVIDE • All raw footage pre-recorded and pre-cut — no filming, no scripting, no content planning required • Full access to Submagic for automated captions • Budget for any additional AI tools, plugins, or software you need • Clear creative direction and style references for every batch • A supportive, fast-moving team that values quality and speed REQUIREMENTS Must-Haves: • Proven experience editing short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) • Portfolio that demonstrates fast-paced, high-retention editing similar to the references above • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve • Ability to consistently deliver 6–8 polished videos per day • Available for 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (with some flexibility on schedule) • Strong internet connection and reliable workstation • Responsive communication — this is a team position, not a set-and-forget gig Nice-to-Haves: • Experience with AI-powered editing tools (Submagic, Opus Clip, CapCut AI, etc.) • Understanding of social media algorithms and what makes content perform • Motion graphics or animation skills • Experience working with personal brands or content creators HOW TO APPLY To be considered, your proposal MUST include: • 3–5 examples of short-form videos you’ve edited in the EXACT same style as listed (links required — no examples = instant rejection) • A short note on what makes the reference videos above effective (proves you actually studied them) • Your editing software of choice • Confirmation that you’re available for full-time, 8 hrs/day • Your timezone and preferred working hours Generic proposals will be ignored.
