Project Title: Simple Floor Plan Diagrams for YouTube Video Series What I need: I'm producing a YouTube video series on interior design and need clean, simple top-down floor plan diagrams to use as visual aids. These will be projected via overhead projector on camera, so they need to read clearly in black line on white background. Style: Simple and graphic — furniture represented as basic shapes, no realistic detail, minimal color, no fill. Think diagram, not architectural drawing. Similar to what you'd see in a design textbook or IKEA instruction manual. Deliverables — approximately 11 diagrams total: Living Room (4): Sofa and one chair arrangement with rug boundary and clearance arrows Sectional and one chair arrangement with rug boundary and clearance arrows Two sofas facing each other with distance labeled and rug boundary One "wrong" version showing furniture against walls and rug too small Dining Room (3): Rectangular table centered with clearance labeled on all sides, pendant position indicated, rug boundary Round table centered with same notation Credenza on adjacent wall showing proportion, art position above, lamp position Bedroom (3): Bed centered on wall opposite door with clearance labeled on sides and foot, nightstand and dresser positions Rug placement option 1 — under lower two thirds of bed Rug placement option 2 — starting at foot of bed extending out Plus one wrong version for either dining or bedroom showing the most common mistake. Format: High resolution PDF and transparent PNG for each diagram Consistent scale and line weight across all drawings Minimal text labels — just key measurements where they matter (clearance distances, pendant height) No dimensions block, no title block, no architectural notation Room walls indicated minimally or not at all — focus is on furniture footprint and clearance What I'm looking for: Someone who can produce clean, graphic, easy-to-read diagrams quickly. This does not need to be a licensed architect — a strong CAD or Illustrator user who understands basic furniture layout would be ideal. Interior design background is a plus.
