Small CAD Adjustment – Flexible Band Fit Fix + Size Increase (No Redesign)

Overview I have an existing 3D model of a flexible band component that wraps around a curved surface. The concept is working, but I need a few targeted adjustments to improve fit and proportions. This is a small modification task, not a full redesign. ⸻ The Problem * The band fits well overall * In one concave region, it lifts slightly and creates a small gap * I need that area to maintain better contact under normal use ⸻ Required Changes 1) Increase Band Height * The band is currently too narrow vertically * I need it slightly taller to improve coverage across different profiles * Must remain clean and proportional (no distortion) ⸻ 2) Improve Localized Fit (Key) * Reduce the gap in the concave region * This should be solved with targeted, minimal geometry adjustments * Avoid bulky or obvious shape changes ⸻ 3) Maintain Clean Look * Preserve smooth curves and overall proportions * No visible bumps, distortions, or overbuilt sections ⸻ Scope (Important) * Work from my existing model (no full rebuild) * Keep changes localized and intentional * This is not a full product redesign ⸻ Deliverables * 2 distinct versions: * Version A (conservative) * Version B (more aggressive) * Each version must include: * brief explanation of what was changed * why it should improve the fit ⸻ Revisions * Includes up to 2 revision rounds based on testing feedback ⸻ Success Criteria * Reduced gap in the problem area * Maintains flexibility and ease of use * Clean, professional geometry ⸻ Important * Full file and details shared after NDA * Please do not propose a full redesign ⸻ To Apply Please briefly explain: 1.
