Social Media Manager — Launch & Grow a Family Wellness SaaS (Organic Focus)
Worldwide
Loved One Check In (lovedonecheckin.com) is a wellness check-in service for families. We send a daily SMS to an aging parent, a college student, or anyone living independently — and if they don't reply within a set window, a family caregiver gets alerted instantly. No app to install, optional medication reminders, 7-day free trial. It was built out of a real family need, and we're now in early launch. I'm the founder, and this is a bootstrapped, early-stage company. That means resourcefulness matters more than big ad budgets — I'm looking for someone who can get real traction organically and treats this product like it's their own. What I'm hiring for I need someone to own the social media launch and ongoing presence. The audience is primarily adult children caring for aging parents (roughly 40–65), plus a secondary audience of families with college students or other loved ones living alone. Facebook is likely the center of gravity for this demographic, with Instagram as a supporting channel, but I'm open to your recommendation. Scope of work - Build a simple, realistic social strategy and content calendar for launch and the first 90 days - Create and schedule organic content (posts, short-form video/Reels, graphics) that speaks to caregivers' real worries and shows how the product helps - Set up and optimize the business profiles (Facebook, Instagram, others you recommend) - Engage with relevant communities and groups where caregivers already gather - Track what's working with basic metrics and adjust — I care about reach that turns into trial sign-ups, not vanity numbers - Work within a lean budget and flag where small paid spend would actually pay off You're a great fit if you - Have launched or grown social for a small business, SaaS, or wellness/health brand (please show examples) - Can write in a warm, trustworthy, non-salesy voice — this is an emotional, sensitive topic - Are comfortable creating your own simple graphics and short video (Canva, CapCut, or similar) - Understand the caregiver / senior-care / "sandwich generation" audience, or can show you've learned an audience like it fast - Are a self-starter who can run with minimal hand-holding and communicate clearly Nice to have - Experience marketing to older adults or in healthcare/eldercare - Familiarity with the U.S. family caregiving landscape
