Social Media Manager Needed for Senior Living Community Facebook Page

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to launch and manage the official Facebook page for our senior living community. Historically, we have not maintained an official Facebook presence because we did not have dedicated resources to manage it. However, several resident-created Facebook groups and pages have emerged over time, and we've decided it's important to establish and manage our own official page to ensure accurate communication and a consistent community presence. Responsibilities include: Creating and publishing regular posts about upcoming community events, activities, announcements, and news Responding to comments and messages from residents, families, and members of the public Following established guidelines and processes for community engagement and responses Posting and organizing photos from community events and activities Maintaining a professional, welcoming, and high-quality Facebook presence Monitoring the page and ensuring overall social media hygiene, accuracy, and brand consistency Ideal Candidate: Has experience managing Facebook pages for communities, senior living organizations, healthcare, hospitality, or similar businesses Demonstrates excellent written communication skills Is proactive, organized, and responsive Understands how to engage with an older adult audience and their families Can maintain a positive and professional online environment If you have experience managing active Facebook communities and can help us build a strong, engaging online presence, we'd love to hear from you.
