Social Media Manager & Content Creator – Instagram & TikTok | Luxury Furniture Showroom Sofa Design Gallery, a designer furniture showroom in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager & Content Creator to take ownership of our social media presence, primarily Instagram and TikTok. We specialize in high-quality, customizable furniture and have a showroom full of unique pieces that provide great opportunities for visually engaging content. We already have an established Instagram account and are looking for someone to help improve it while launching and growing our TikTok presence. We want someone who can create, post, and manage our content from start to finish rather than simply advise us on what to do. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Take ownership of our Instagram and TikTok presence - Film and edit Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short-form content - Create and publish content consistently - Launch and grow our TikTok account - Develop creative concepts, hooks, and content ideas - Stay current with social media trends, sounds, and formats - Write captions and prepare posts - Help develop a consistent, recognizable online brand - Create promotional graphics and other branded social media content - Help increase local awareness, engagement, followers, and ultimately showroom traffic What we're looking for: - Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok - A good eye for graphic design, aesthetics, and online branding - Strong video filming and editing skills - Ability to make furniture and interior design content feel modern, interesting, and shareable - Creative and comfortable coming up with content independently - Reliable and able to manage posting without needing constant direction - Experience with Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar design/editing tools is a plus This is an IN-PERSON role in Sherman Oaks, CA, so applicants must be local to the Los Angeles area. Some work can be completed remotely, but regular visits to the showroom will be necessary for filming and content creation. We're open to experienced freelancers as well as talented students or newer creators with a strong portfolio. We care more about your creativity, taste, and ability to execute than the number of years you've been doing it. Compensation: Flexible depending on experience, frequency of showroom visits, and the amount of content created and posted each week.
