Technical Interviewer & Hiring Advisor — Senior Full-Stack Hire (NestJS / Next.js / AWS)

We are a UK-based SaaS platform in the social-care / safeguarding sector (production app: Next.js frontend, NestJS backend, PostgreSQL on AWS). We are hiring a senior full-stack developer in Pakistan as a long-term team member, and we need an experienced senior developer (not a recruiter) to act as our independent technical interviewer and hiring advisor. What you'll do Review our screening questions, take-home task and scoring rubric, and suggest improvements (this is the first paid task — 1 hour, written feedback) Evaluate written screening answers and 2–3 take-home submissions against the rubric Conduct 1-hour technical interviews (video) with 2–3 shortlisted candidates and deliver a written scorecard per candidate (template provided) Join a 30-minute debrief and give a clear hire / no-hire recommendation Hours and schedule Billed hourly. Estimated 5–10 hours total over 3–5 weeks. The exact volume depends on how many candidates pass each stage, so we approve hour-blocks in advance rather than fixing a total upfront Interviews are scheduled ad-hoc with reasonable notice (UK daytime / Pakistan evening overlap) What could follow For the right person, this can extend into a small ongoing monthly advisory retainer (code review, security spot-checks, milestone acceptance — roughly 6–10 hours/month) and a paid codebase audit. We value a long-term independent-advisor relationship. Requirements 8+ years hands-on full-stack development; you still write code today (recruiters / HR consultants: this role is not a fit) Strong with Node.js/NestJS, React/Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS Experience interviewing, mentoring or technically evaluating other developers Clear written English — your scorecards must be understandable by a non-technical founder Independence: you cannot evaluate anyone you personally know, and you must declare any conflict of interest per candidate How to apply Start your proposal with the word SCORECARD (proposals without it will be declined) and keep it under 200 words: your dev background in 2–3 lines, one line on your interviewing experience, and your availability.
