About us: Work Hero is a white-label WordPress partner for digital agencies. Agencies across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia trust us to build, maintain, and support their clients' websites. We help agency owners ship WordPress work faster, keep sites secure and up to date, improve performance, and adopt better tools and AI-native workflows. About the role: We're looking for a confident on-camera spokesperson to become one of the faces of Work Hero's video content. You'll record scripted videos from your own home studio with a clean, professional "home podcast" look. We write the scripts; your job is to deliver them so they feel natural, credible, and easy to trust. The content falls into two formats: - Brand videos — 1–5 minutes, for organic social, YouTube, and Reels. - Short-form ads — 30–90 seconds, for paid social (mainly Meta). Brand videos introduce agency owners to new technology — especially AI tools and workflows — as well as shifts in the digital agency market. Each one should make the topic practical and clear: what the tool or idea is, why it matters, and how an agency owner could actually use it. What you'll do - Record scripted videos from your home studio. - Deliver brand videos and short ads in a warm, conversational style. - Make technical topics sound clear, practical, and human. - Provide clean footage: good lighting, strong audio, and multiple takes when useful. What we're looking for - On-camera presence is the most important thing. You should be comfortable speaking directly to the camera, able to sound natural from a script, and credible enough that agency owners keep listening. - We want someone professional but not stiff, warm but not overly casual, confident without sounding salesy. Production requirements Your setup needs to produce polished, professional-looking video: - Professional lighting (softbox, LED panel, or key light). - Professional microphone with clean audio. - 1080p camera minimum; 4K preferred. - Clean home-office or studio background that fits a podcast-style B2B brand. Nice to have - Editing isn't required, but it's a strong plus — bonus points if you can also deliver finished videos with tight cuts, captions, hooks, b-roll, screen recordings, text overlays, or simple motion graphics. Also a plus: - UGC-style ad experience for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. - Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. - Experience with B2B, SaaS, marketing, agency, tech, or WordPress content.
