Unify Wifi Connectivity Issues

UniFi WiFi Troubleshooting – Small business (Remote) We run a UniFi network at a site and need help stabilizing wireless connectivity for our staff laptops. Clear expectations about the task / deliverables Diagnose and resolve WiFi reliability issues (e.g. drops / slow roaming / intermittent disconnects — describe your exact symptoms here) on a UniFi Dream Machine SE (UDM-SE). Environment: UDM-SE connected directly to the Verizon ONT, two USW Pro 48 PoE switches, and UniFi access point(s). All laptops connect wirelessly to the UniFi AP; ~17 desktops are wired. Tune AP settings (channels/width, band steering, min RSSI/roaming, TX power, fast roaming) and confirm clean DNS resolution for wireless clients (internal DNS is our Windows Server DC). Deliverable: stable wireless for all laptops plus a short write-up of what was changed and why. Skills required Strong hands-on UniFi / Ubiquiti experience (UniFi Network app, UDM-SE, UniFi APs, PoE switching). Wireless RF troubleshooting (interference, coverage, roaming, channel planning). Working knowledge of DNS/DHCP and VLAN basics; comfortable in a Windows AD-backed network. Good communication Remote engagement via screen share / RDP session with our engineer, who handles the server and DC side. Clear, plain-language explanations of findings and changes; flag anything that could affect uptime before applying. How we like to work Remote-first; changes made during agreed maintenance windows to avoid disrupting the clinic. Document every change. Do not modify the domain controller, DNS, or DHCP without coordinating with our engineer.
