VAPI AI Voice Expert Needed

We are looking for a highly experienced VAPI expert to optimize our AI voice agent and make conversations sound significantly more natural and human. Our current setup is functional, but the voice interactions sound too robotic, causing prospects and clients to disconnect from calls before completing conversations. Project Goals - Review our existing VAPI implementation - Identify why the AI voice sounds robotic or unnatural - Improve voice quality, pacing, interruptions, pauses, and conversational flow - Optimize prompt engineering for more human-like interactions - Improve turn-taking and response timing - Reduce call abandonment and increase engagement - Recommend and implement best practices for production-grade AI voice agents Required Experience Please apply only if you have: - Extensive hands-on experience with VAPI - Experience with ElevenLabs, OpenAI Realtime, Deepgram, Cartesia, or similar voice technologies - Proven track record building AI phone agents that sound natural and conversational - Strong understanding of latency optimization and voice UX - Experience troubleshooting call drop-offs and improving conversion rates To Apply Please include: - Examples of VAPI projects you have worked on - What voice stack you used (ElevenLabs, Cartesia, OpenAI Realtime, etc.) - Specific improvements you made to increase human-like conversation quality - Your approach for diagnosing and fixing robotic-sounding AI calls Important We are looking for an expert, not someone learning VAPI.
