Versatile Designer for CPG Beverage Brand

Seeking a versatile designer for a fast-growing CPG beverage brand. Responsibilities include creating packaging, retail POS, and digital/social/email creative. The ideal candidate will have experience in the CPG industry and be able to adapt to various design tasks. This is a part-time role with a focus on delivering high-quality designs that align with brand identity. What you'll be doing: Packaging Design retail-ready product packaging: can/bottle labels, multipack and variety-pack cartons, gift packaging, and seasonal packaging variants Build print-production-ready files with correct dieline/template setup, bleeds, color profiles (CMYK/Pantone), and spec adherence for commercial printers Create retail POS and merchandising assets: case cards, shelf strips, shelf talkers, table tents, posters (11x17, 18x24), cooler door clings, floor decals, neck hangers, and counter displays Adapt core designs across multiple SKUs, flavors, and dosage tiers while maintaining brand and shelf consistency Manage print specs and coordinate with printers/vendors on proofs, materials, and production timelines Ensure all packaging and POS meets regulatory and compliance requirements for the category (warning labels, dosage callouts, legal copy placement) Produce seasonal and promotional packaging reskins (flavor stories, holiday/gift editions) on deadline against the marketing calendar Handle production handoff: packaged, organized, correctly-named files ready for print or co-packer Digital creative: paid social ad units (Meta), email campaign design, DTC site visuals, landing pages Promo and packaging visuals: bundle/variety-pack designs, gift packaging, seasonal flavor reskins, merch (koozies, totes, apparel-light) Retail POS: case cards, shelf strips, table tents, posters, cooler clings — production-ready files that ship to print on deadline Social-ready assets supporting an always-on content system Working from brand guidelines to keep a consistent voice across every surface Must-haves: Strong portfolio spanning both digital and physical/packaging work (this is the screen — most candidates lean one way) CPG, beverage, or consumer-brand experience Production-ready file delivery for print/POS (bleeds, specs, printer-ready) Speed and range: comfortable producing many varied assets monthly against a live calendar Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma a plus Nice-to-haves: Motion/basic video editing for social Experience designing for regulated categories (cannabis, alcohol, supplements) Direct-to-consumer/ecommerce creative background
