Video Editor for Wellness/Therapy Brand — Riverside.fm Interviews into Reels + YouTube
Worldwide
Job Description I'm a licensed psychologist building a wellness education brand (Body Culture Revolution) focused on intuitive eating, body liberation, and weight-inclusive healthcare. I'm recording a series of long-form conversations with expert guests (authors, dietitians, physicians) using Riverside.fm, and I need an editor to turn each conversation into a content package across two formats: 1. Short-form vertical clips (Instagram Reels / TikTok / YouTube Shorts) 4–8 clips per interview, 30–90 seconds each Pulled from the strongest, most quotable, most emotionally resonant moments Vertical (9:16), captioned, clean simple branding (I'll provide a brand kit/template) Should feel polished but not overproduced — warmth and authenticity matter more than flashy transitions 2. Long-form YouTube content One edited version of the full conversation (typically 45–60 min raw → edited down to remove dead air, false starts, technical hiccups) Landscape (16:9), basic title cards/lower thirds, captions Light editing for pacing — tighten without losing the natural conversational feel What I'll provide Raw Riverside.fm recordings (separate audio/video tracks per speaker) A simple brand kit: colors, fonts, logo, caption style preferences A short brief per interview noting which moments I think are strongest (you're welcome to find others too) What I'm looking for in you Experience editing podcast/interview-style content into both short-form and long-form A good eye for emotionally resonant, "save-and-share" moments Comfortable working with Riverside.fm exports (separate tracks, syncing if needed) Clean, accurate captioning (auto-caption + cleanup is fine) Reliable communication and turnaround sticking to a content calendar with predictable delivery Project structure This is starting as a trial project with one interview (one long-form video + 4-6 Reels). If it goes well, I have several more interviews in the pipeline over the next 1–2 months, with the goal of an ongoing relationship if we're a good fit. I'll have a steady stream of content needs as I build out this brand. To apply, please include: 2–3 examples of similar interview-to-Reels and interview-to-YouTube edits you've done (links preferred) Your typical turnaround time for a project like this Your rate — per video/project basis preferred over hourly, but open to discussing One sentence on what you look for when choosing which clips to pull from a longer conversation Tone note This content deals with sensitive topics — body image, eating disorders, diet culture, medical experiences. I'm not looking for hype-style editing (no jarring zoom effects, meme sounds, or aggressive jump cuts) but I do want to keep audiences engaged. The tone is warm, grounded, and substantive.
