Video editing - dance event

Video Editor with Expertise in Brazilian Music (Forró) Summary We are looking for a professional video editor to support the creation of a short-form video series using pre-recorded footage and music. The project involves pre-editing between 1 and 8 high quality videos, focusing on precise synchronization to music and captivating atmosphere.

 Project Scope:
 - pre-edit videos on CapCut using provided raw footage (primarily dance/music content) and a soundtrack.
 - synchronize video cuts and transitions with the rhythm and dynamics of the selected music in a captivating way.
 - apply basic color correction, sound balancing and smooth transitions. - provide the complete CapCut project folder for further editing and finishing

 Requirements:
 - experience in video editing (please include portfolio)
 - proficiency in using CapCut desktop video editor (required for downloading the project folder)
 - good feel and understanding of Brazilian music, particularly Forró (traditional and contemporary styles)
 - ability to edit in rhythm with music, particularly dance-based visuals
 - attention to detail, responsiveness to feedback, and reliable project delivery

 Preferred Qualifications:
 - previous experience editing videos involving dance, cultural performance and/or live music
 - familiarity with Brazilian culture and Forró
 - ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively

 Deliverables:
 - 1-8 pre-edited videos, between 40 seconds and 1 minute 30 seconds long
 - complete CapCut project folders for transfer and further editing/finish of the videos on CapCut desktop
 - delivery timeline: urgent
