AI Voice Agent Integration Specialist — Inbound Calls (VAPI + CRM + Slack)

We need an experienced automation specialist to build an inbound AI voice agent that answers incoming calls for our business, integrated directly into our CRM and team communication tools. The agent should be able to: Answer inbound calls automatically using VAPI or a similar voice AI platform Handle real-time conversation — understand caller intent, answer common questions, and route the call appropriately (FAQ, booking, support, sales inquiry, etc.) Qualify the caller or collect key information (name, reason for calling, urgency, etc.) before deciding next steps Escalate or transfer to a live team member when the call requires human judgment, or take a message if no one is available Push call outcomes, transcripts, and caller data into our CRM (GoHighLevel preferred — open to HubSpot/Pipedrive) Send real-time Slack notifications when a call needs follow-up, is urgent, or results in a booking/lead Handle edge cases gracefully (unclear speech, silence, angry/frustrated callers, repeat callers) Deliverables: Fully configured and tested inbound voice agent (VAPI agent setup, conversation/intent design) Call routing logic (FAQ vs. escalation vs. booking vs. message-taking) CRM integration with proper field mapping and data sync Slack notification workflow for time-sensitive or flagged calls Basic error handling and logging so we can monitor call outcomes and missed/dropped calls Short documentation explaining how the system works and how to adjust call flows or FAQ responses A walkthrough call or recorded video explaining the setup Requirements: Proven experience building inbound voice AI agents with VAPI (or Retell, Bland, or similar) — must understand real-time call handling, not just outbound scripted dialing Strong n8n or Make.com skills for the automation/integration layer Experience with GoHighLevel or another major CRM Comfortable with Slack API/webhooks for notifications Can show a working example or demo of a similar inbound system you've built (required — please include in your proposal) Nice to Have: Experience with call routing/IVR-style logic or live transfer to human agents Familiarity with handling high call volume or multi-intent calls To Apply, Please Include: A short demo (video or recording) of an inbound voice AI agent you've built — ideally showing it handling a real or test call Brief explanation of how you'd design the call flow and routing logic for our use case Your estimated timeline and any clarifying questions
