Posted 3 weeks ago

Summary

We're a multi-location medical spa with a fully designed, custom website ready to go — we need an experienced WordPress developer to bring it to life. What we have: A complete, website design (HTML/CSS/component files) covering all pages — homepage, service pages, location pages, about, contact, and blog layout. The design work is done. Your job is faithful execution, not redesign. Scope of work: Phase 1 — Build & Migration Convert our existing design into a fully functional WordPress site (pixel-accurate to the provided design) Build with a clean, maintainable approach (custom theme or a lightweight builder — tell us your recommended stack and why) Mobile-responsive across all devices - Fast load times (Core Web Vitals in the green) - Set up contact forms, booking links, Google Analytics/GA4, and Search Console - Migrate/redirect existing URLs properly (301s) so we don't lose current rankings Phase 2 — SEO Foundation On-page SEO setup: title tags, meta descriptions, schema markup (LocalBusiness/MedicalBusiness), image optimization, internal linking Local SEO structure for multiple locations (individual location pages optimized for their service areas) Blog/CMS configured so our team can publish SEO content easily Phase 3 — Ongoing (monthly retainer, for the right person) CMS management: publishing blog posts, page updates, plugin/security maintenance Ongoing SEO: keyword tracking, technical SEO health, content recommendations You're a fit if you: Have a strong portfolio of custom WordPress builds (not just template installs) — please include 2-3 links Have real local SEO experience, ideally with multi-location businesses (medical, dental, or aesthetics a plus) Communicate proactively and can work US Eastern hours overlap Can start within 1-2 weeks To apply, please include: Links to 2-3 WordPress sites you built from a custom design Your recommended tech stack for this build and why A rough timeline and fixed price for Phase 1, plus your monthly rate for ongoing management The word "Bird" at the top of your proposal so we know you read this
