Overview: We're a leadership advisory and executive coaching firm. We have an existing WordPress website built in Elementor with a custom design and are looking for someone to take over ongoing management, maintenance, and backend support. Our internal team handles content and landing pages — we need someone to own the technical side and keep things running cleanly. What You'll Work On: • Managing the WordPress backend including plugin updates, deployments, and staging-to-live migrations • Setting up and maintaining proper user permissions so internal team members can make edits independently where appropriate • Embedding code snippets from third-party tools (e.g. Zoho forms) into the correct pages • Proactively monitoring the site for broken elements, display issues, or anything that affects the user experience, not just responding when we report a problem • Troubleshooting issues as they arise with clear, plain-language explanations of what went wrong and how it was fixed • SEO basics: meta descriptions, slugs, Yoast configuration is a strong plus What We're Looking For: • Solid WordPress and Elementor experience, including working with custom-built sites that aren't template-based • Someone who gives us appropriate access and permissions from the start rather than creating a dependency • Proactive communicator: you flag issues before we find them and explain your process in plain language • Thought partner: you ask the right questions before making changes and help us understand our options when decisions need to be made • Responsive during the work week with reasonable turnaround on smaller tasks Engagement Details: Rate: open (please include your hourly rate) Type: Ongoing / hourly Start: ASAP Location: Remote Time zone: Eastern time preferred A Note for Applicants: We're coming out of a vendor relationship where access and communication were ongoing pain points. The right person for this role will be transparent about what they're doing and why, set us up to be as self-sufficient as possible, and treat this as a partnership rather than a dependency.
