Workplace Branding and Interior Design

Project Overview We're a multidisciplinary engineering firm specializing in renewable energy. As our company continues to grow, we are opening a new office in Portland, Oregon, and are looking for a talented workplace branding and interior design professional to help us transform our office environment into a space that reflects our culture, values, and brand. Currently, our offices are functional but visually bland. We want to create a cohesive, engaging workplace experience that reinforces our brand, improves employee experience, and creates a memorable impression for visitors and prospective employees. We will provide comprehensive brand guidelines, visual assets, and background information about our company culture. Scope of Work The selected designer will develop a branded office design concept for our new Portland office, including recommendations and specifications for: * Wall graphics and artwork * Environmental branding elements * Interior decals and vinyl applications * Office signage and wayfinding * Paint color schemes and accent walls * Furniture recommendations * Common area and collaboration space concepts * Reception and client-facing areas * Conference room branding * Employee experience and culture-focused design elements We are looking for practical, implementable solutions that balance creativity, aesthetics, functionality, and budget considerations. Deliverables Phase 1: Portland Office Design Package * Office branding concept and visual design presentation * Artwork, mural, and decal designs * Signage concepts and specifications * Interior color palette recommendations * Furniture recommendations with product specifications and sourcing suggestions * Material specifications for graphics, decals, signage, and finishes * Installation guidance sufficient for local vendors to execute *Note: We will purchase furniture, graphics, and materials directly. We are seeking design, specifications, and recommendations rather than procurement services.* Phase 2: RRC Office Design Standards & Toolkit In addition to the Portland office design, we want to develop a scalable office branding system that can be applied across existing and future RRC locations. Deliverables should include: * RRC Office Design Guidelines * Recommended brand applications by office area * Standard signage system * Artwork and graphic standards * Color and finish standards * Furniture standards and recommendations * Environmental branding playbook * Templates and specifications that can be adapted to future offices The goal is to create a repeatable office design kit that allows future locations to maintain a consistent RRC workplace experience. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in workplace design, environmental branding, interior branding, or corporate office design * Portfolio demonstrating branded office environments * Experience creating scalable workplace design standards * Knowledge of furniture systems and commercial interiors * Ability to provide practical specifications and sourcing recommendations * Strong visual presentation skills Location Preference Because this project involves designing our new Portland office and may benefit from occasional site visits, we strongly prefer candidates located in the Portland, Oregon area.
