Thanks for checking out our job post. We are looking for an experienced YouTube video editor, preferably someone who has worked with faceless channels. Our content covers Business Docuemntaries. Our team is growing quickly and we are looking to bring on multiple editors as our channels continue to scale. There are two core things we care about in this role: 1. The ability to closely follow the editing style we provide 2. A solid base-level understanding of business documentary content to ensure accuracy and smooth storytelling KEY EDITING REQUIREMENTS Clip Accuracy: Visuals must precisely match the script. If the script references a specific restaurant chain, historical event, or business moment, the footage and images should reflect that exactly. Editing Style: Clean and simple. No unnecessary flashy effects. The goal is to enhance the story, not distract from it. Our content is conversational and documentary-style, so the editing should feel the same way. Background Music: Music should match the tone of the script neutral, engaging, and informative. It should support the narration without overpowering it. Text and Graphics: Use consistent fonts, colors, and formatting. Apply basic on-screen text including statistics, company names, dates, and financial figures relevant to the story being told. Enhancements: Add subtle sound effects, transitions, and pacing changes when appropriate to improve viewer retention across a 8-30 minute video. REQUIREMENTS • Must know how to avoid copyright issues with both clips and audio • Advanced video editing skills using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent software • Prior experience editing for YouTube channels (faceless channels preferred) • Strong ability to bring a narrated business or history story to life through visuals, pacing, and music • Ability to source high-quality, relevant footage, brand imagery, and archival photos when needed • Native English or bilingual proficiency • Strong reliability with deadlines and the ability to meet a 24-hour turnaround • Keep a similar editing style throughout the whole video - don't start the video off strong then end it with fluff.
