UI/UX Designer with Strong Discovery & Client Communication Skills (Long-Term, Flexible)

We're looking for a UI/UX designer who enjoys working directly with clients and turning conversations into thoughtful design solutions. This role goes beyond creating wireframes or mockups. You'll play an important part in understanding business goals, uncovering user needs and helping define the direction of each project. The ideal candidate is an excellent listener, asks insightful questions and can confidently guide discussions that lead to better design decisions. Responsibilities - Conduct discovery calls and user interviews via Zoom - Gather business requirements and identify project goals - Translate client feedback into clear UX recommendations - Collaborate with clients and internal team members throughout the design process - Keep projects organized and ensure meetings and deliverables stay on schedule We're Looking For - Strong UI/UX design experience with a solid portfolio - Ability to lead client conversations with confidence - Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills - Comfortable identifying underlying business needs-not just taking design requests at face value - Organized, dependable, and responsive Nice to Have - Experience facilitating discovery workshops or stakeholder interviews - Background working with SaaS products, startups, or web applications - Knowledge of design systems and user research methods Strong spoken English is required, as you'll communicate with clients via Zoom.
