The Role in One Paragraph We are launching a new consumer app built for moms who want to capture and keep family memories instead of performing them for an algorithm. We're weeks from launch, and we're hiring a hands-on paid media specialist to own every dollar of our paid social spend across Meta, TikTok, and Apple Search Ads. You'll build our paid acquisition engine from zero: account structure, creative testing, attribution, and scaling. Success in your first 90 days looks like a live, instrumented paid program strategy and contributing meaningfully toward our goal of 100,000 downloads by January 2027. Why This Role Is Different Most paid media roles hand you a mature account and ask you to squeeze out 5% improvements. This one hands you a blank canvas, a validated market (80% willingness to pay from our consumer research), a distinctive brand, and a team who moves fast. You'll set and collaborate on the playbook, not inherit it. Your work will be visible and rewarding What You'll Own Full-funnel paid social strategy and execution across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Apple Search Ads — from campaign architecture to daily optimization, creative testing at velocity. You'll run structured hook/angle/format tests, partner with our influencer program for ads and creative, and use AI creative tools to multiply testing volume without multiplying cost measurement and attribution. You'll implement and maintain our tracking spec (MMP setup, event mapping, SKAN/privacy-era measurement) and report weekly on CAC, ROAS, cohort retention, and payback — numbers, not vibes budget stewardship. You'll manage a lean pre-launch and launch budget, reallocating spend weekly based on performance, and build the case for scaling as we hit efficiency targets channel expansion recommendations. As data comes in, you'll advise on when (and whether) to change the scope of strategy or double down with specific influencers and or target success ads. Required (You Must Have These) A track record of profitably acquiring users for a consumer mobile app or DTC subscription product — you can show us the numbers Hands-on, current expertise in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager, including Advantage+ and Smart+ campaign types Working knowledge of mobile measurement in the post-ATT era: MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar), SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, and incrementality thinking fluency with AI tools in your daily workflow — for creative iteration, copy variants, analysis, or reporting. We move fast and expect leverage, strong written communication. You'll work async with a small distributed founding team; your weekly reports need to be clear enough to understand, iterate on and make strategic marketing decisions. Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience marketing to moms, parents, or family audiences. This is a HUGE plus if you can show prior success in this category. Apple Search Ads certification or meaningful ASA spend under management Influencer whitelisting / creator licensing experience (Spark Ads, partnership ads) Experience at a pre-launch or early-stage startup where you built the paid program from scratch Familiarity with subscription app economics (trial conversion, LTV modeling, payback windows) Note: We hire for demonstrated skills and outcomes, not years logged or degrees held.
