Web Developer Needed for Website Maintenance, Updates, and SEO Optimization (Short-Term)

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented WordPress Website Developer to help us maintain, update, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize our existing business website. The role involves the website runs smoothly and efficiently, addressing any technical issues promptly, and enhancing its performance and user experience. This is a short-term project expected to last a few weeks, with the potential for ongoing ad-hoc support in the future. Key Responsibilities: Content Updates: Add new product pictures, build custom landing pages, and edit layouts on existing pages. Troubleshooting: Diagnose plugin conflicts, fix layout glitches, resolve broken links, and patch theme errors. SEO Enhancement: Optimize page speed, configure SEO plugins, fix meta tags, and improve image alt text. Maintenance: Ensure the core site, themes, and plugins are updated safely without breaking functionality. Required Skills: +Proven experience with WordPress core, themes, and builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg). +Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and basic JavaScript for custom tweaks. +Experience with on-page SEO tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math. +Familiarity with image optimization and web performance best practices. +Ability to troubleshoot and solve responsive design issues on mobile devices.
