Python Backend Developer

We are seeking a Python Backend Developer with expertise in software architecture to join our team in building a large-scale platform for a client. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust microservices, adhering to our established best practices and development procedures. Technical Requirements: Proven experience in backend development with Python and software architecture design. Advanced knowledge of the following technologies: Uv (dependency management and packaging). Loguru (logging). Pydantic (data validation and modeling). Flask (web framework). SQLAlchemy (ORM for relational databases). Pytest (unit and integration testing). Dramatiq (asynchronous task processing). CI/CD (GitLab) and Docker (containerization). Experience working in Linux environments (preferred). If working on Windows, you must be able to set up and maintain your own environment without requiring team support. Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g., coding copilots), but with a critical mindset: we do not accept solutions that work without understanding or taking responsibility for them. Soft Skills & Methodology: Ability to work proactively and independently, while remaining a team player. Experience in task coordination using JIRA and adherence to established software development procedures. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong technical communication and collaboration skills. Independent and decisive: Able to research, solve problems, and make informed decisions autonomously. Time zones: Willingness to coordinate with developers and customers in Latin America and Europe, so take into account time zone differences.
