Responsibilities We are soliciting web developers for the following work on our website, Dusil Photography, https://dusil.org: Phase 1 Optimization - Optimize and demonstrate the website's performance across all pages to an A+ rating using benchmark performance sites such as https://tools.pingdom.com/, https://gtmetrix.com/, and https://pagespeed.web.dev/. Optimization - Ensure the website renders correctly across all major browsers and mobile devices, including the header menu, logos, emojis, UTF8 characters, and all other elements. Optimization - Propose plugins that will enhance optimization, improve performance, and boost productivity. SEO - Optimize and demonstrate SEO improvements to an A+ rating (or a minimum of 90+ percentile performance to other websites), SEO - Optimize Google Analytics 4 profiles with an optimized and informative dashboard and optimal SEO analysis. SEO - Fix all Google Search Console issues. SEO - Fix all SEO health issues indicated in the WP-Admin dashboard Health - Fix all website health issues: https://www.dusil.org/wp-admin/site-health.php Health - Ensure that there are no plugin conflicts throughout this optimization exercise Health - Streamline all plugins, remove redundancies, and conflicts. Health - No Fork Strategy - Any developments in this initiative should not negatively affect automatic updates for any plugins and should not fork from the parent theme. Any changes to the website cannot override templates. The theme and all plugins need to remain in auto-update mode. Changes to the website can not affect any auto-updates. Backup - Review the backup strategy and confirm that it will 100% restore the site if needed. (e.g., UTF8 characters and emojis also to be backed up and restorable, etc.) Backup: Propose website integrity improvements (e.g., backups and disaster recovery). Security - Propose website security improvements. Phase 2 Social Media Outreach - propose optimizations and improvements to social media follower counts, casting new models for photoshoots, and social media expansion strategies. Monetization - Propose cost-efficiency improvements to the website's functionality, performance, and SEO that have not been considered above. Monetization - Propose plugins and implementation requirements for Paywall options to premium images and masterclass content. Future - Scrutinize the existing structure and propose improvements utilizing industry best practices. Future - Propose website improvements not mentioned above (i.e., "outside of the box" thinking). Proposal Structure Indicate in your proposal which items above will not be included in your proposal or are not in your core competency. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed over a Zoom video call (i.e., candidates are required to attend a video-activated call) Candidates will provide a detailed financial breakdown of the work and associated timescales. Candidates are expected to teach and explain their methodologies over Zoom calls. The chosen candidate will be required to submit documentation explaining all steps taken to deliver the above deliverables, and to present their methodologies via a Zoom Conference and through PowerPoint or Word documentation. A high level of English proficiency is required. AI-generated proposals will be rejected. Copy-pasting the project goals into a proposal will be rejected. Skills Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of active experience in WordPress Website Development Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of active experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of active experience in SEO optimization & website promotional tools specific to art nude photography. Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of active experience in Social Media outreach and legitimate follower growth. Timeframe 30 days - The project plan should include daily milestones and deliverables.
