Senior Product Designer + Front-End Engineer | Consumer Membership + Sweepstakes Platform

We're launching Lucky Duck, a consumer membership rewards platform with engaging fixed raffle product mechanics. The product map is complete and we're ready to build. We need a senior product designer who can also implement front-end code (design engineer profile) to own the full user-facing experience. Bonus points if you back end as well. What's already done: Full product map with 5 core user loops, 14 reusable components, and 9 unique screens Brand identity, color palette, typography Custom mascot character with multiple views ready to integrate Existing MVP foundation with several components built (hero animation, collections grid, pool fill bars, prize badges) Detailed product model documenting credit system, membership tiers, and product mechanics Clear documentation of every screen, component, and interaction What needs to be built: 5 user loops covering acquisition through retention and value delivery 14 reusable components including a central HUB Panel + FAB (a betslip-style interface with real-time calculations and portfolio allocation) 9 unique screens including landing, signup/payment flow, product detail pages, results screen, and deals destination Mobile-first responsive web app (web app, not native mobile) Design system + token implementation Animation polish for key moments (celebration moments, hero card interactions) Tech expectations: Modern front-end stack (React/TypeScript or equivalent) Will integrate with a separate backend developer for payment infrastructure, credits, and odds engine Your preferred CSS approach (Tailwind, styled-components, etc.) Production-ready, smooth across mobile and desktop Required: 5+ years senior product design experience Strong front-end engineering skills (React/TypeScript or modern equivalent) Design systems / component library experience Mobile-first responsive design experience Portfolio with shipped consumer-facing products (live links, not just Dribbble shots) Comfortable owning design AND implementation end-to-end Strong written and verbal communication Nice to have: Experience with fintech, prediction markets, or rewards platforms Familiarity with payment SDK integration Background in subscription or membership products Animation skills (Framer Motion, GSAP, or strong CSS animation) Experience with complex state management Not a fit: Designers who only do Figma without implementation Agencies pitching templated services Junior or mid-level designers without shipped product experience Anyone unable to show prior shipped work via live links How to apply: Please include the following in your proposal: Mention the word "feathers" somewhere in your application so we know you read carefully 2-3 most relevant projects with live links (shipped products only, not concept work) The most complex interactive product you've personally designed AND built the front-end for Your proposed hourly rate Whether you have backend developers you've collaborated with that you'd recommend
