KEYWORD FOR APPLICANTS: IceBreaker (Please include this word as the very first line of your cover letter/proposal so I know you actually read this description. Proposals without this word will be automatically declined.) Are you obsessed with baseball, pitching mechanics, or player development? Do you have experience editing short-form video and want to help young pitchers reach the next level? If so, this is the perfect fit for you. I run a remote baseball development and training business. I am looking to hire a reliable video editor who can help me pump out a high volume of educational and highly engaging baseball content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts). The ideal scenario: I want to hand this off to a "baseball person" who also edits. Because of that, baseball knowledge is a strict requirement for this role. You don't need to be a Hollywood-level artist, the editing style can be very clean, sharp, and simple. Pacing, clear captions, and proper asset placement are what matter most. How the Workflow Works: Batch Delivery: I will send you raw talking-head/coaching footage in batches of 7 videos at a time. Asset Library: You will get full access to my deeply organized, categorized, and named library of B-roll clips (pitching mechanics, data screens, overlays, etc.). Autonomy: Because you know baseball, your job is to listen to what I’m talking about in the raw footage, pull the correct B-roll asset from the library, and drop it in without me having to script out every single cut for you. What I’m Looking For: A True Baseball Background: You played, you coach, or you are a massive fan who deeply understands the game, player development, and pitching terminology. Previous Video Editing Experience: Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. You understand short-form pacing, audio balancing, and how to use text/captions cleanly. Volume & Reliability: Ability to consistently turn around a batch of 7 short-form videos a week with minimal back-and-forth coaching. A Team Player: Someone who is genuinely passionate about helping young athletes improve and wants to grow with a baseball brand. To Apply, Please Answer the Following: 1. What is your personal background in baseball (did you play, coach, or just live and breathe the game)? 2. Please link 2–3 examples of short-form videos you have edited (sports or educational content preferred). 3. What do you think is the #1 thing that most young pitchers get wrong when they are training?
