Overview 1st - English must be your first language, and only candidates from english speaking countries will be considered We're a speaker development and business development firm that helps thought leaders land TEDx talks and paid keynote opportunities. We're looking for one sharp, detail-oriented freelancer to own two core tasks: writing compelling TEDx talk applications on behalf of our clients, and crafting personalized outbound emails to event planners and keynote bookers. This is an ongoing role with consistent work as our client roster grows. What You'll Do TEDx Applications: Write polished, compelling TEDx applications tailored to each event's focus Track submission deadlines and application statuses Keynote Speaker Outreach: Write personalized outbound emails pitching our clients as keynote speakers Adapt messaging based on event type, audience, and speaker niche Manage and iterate on email sequences based on response rates You're a Fit If You: Have experience in copywriting, PR, talent representation, or speaker bureau work Know what a TEDx application looks like (or have written one before — big plus) Write in a clear, confident, human voice — no fluff, no AI-sounding copy Are organized and can manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously Communicate proactively and meet deadlines without hand-holding Nice to Have: Background in event marketing, speaking industry, or talent/booking agency Experience with outbound email campaigns or sales writing Familiarity with platforms like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar CRMs To Apply, Please Include: A sample of persuasive writing you've done (application, pitch, or email) Brief answers to these two questions: Have you written a TEDx application or anything similar?
