Junior Digital Marketing Specialist (Ongoing Contract)

We are a boutique branding and digital design agency looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist to support the ongoing marketing efforts of one of our clients in the home improvement and e-commerce space. This is not a "just schedule posts" position. We are looking for someone who understands how social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and content work together to support business goals and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to collaborate on strategy while also owning day-to-day execution. What You'll Be Doing Social Media Management Schedule and publish social media content across multiple platforms Assist with content planning and campaign execution Monitor engagement and identify opportunities for growth Repurpose content across channels Coordinate assets and ensure content is published accurately and on schedule Email Marketing Build and schedule email campaigns Set up and manage automated email flows Segment audiences and maintain list hygiene QA emails before deployment Monitor performance and provide recommendations for improvement Paid Media Support Assist with Meta and Google advertising campaigns Monitor campaign performance Report on key metrics and trends Help identify optimization opportunities Coordinate creative assets and campaign launches Marketing Operations & Reporting Track campaign performance across channels Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines Coordinate with our team to ensure campaigns launch on time Document processes and keep projects organized Support reporting and performance reviews How We Work Our agency develops the overall marketing strategy, messaging, creative direction, and content calendar. We are highly collaborative and are looking for someone who wants to contribute ideas and recommendations rather than simply execute tasks. You will work closely with our team to refine campaigns, identify opportunities, and improve performance over time. Attention to detail and process is critical. A large part of this role involves making sure content is published correctly, emails are sent accurately, campaigns launch on time, and nothing falls through the cracks. Required Experience Please apply only if you have experience with: Social media management and scheduling Email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) Meta Ads Manager Google Ads (basic to intermediate experience is acceptable) Marketing reporting and analytics Content calendar management Experience with Shopify and home improvement, interior design, furniture, lifestyle, or consumer product brands is a plus.
