Multi-Tenant SaaS Development (Textile light ERP, Accounting & Inventory) – React/Node/PostgreSQL

1. Project Overview ​We are looking for an experienced IT Agency or a Full-Stack Development Team to build a robust Multi-tenant Web SaaS Application tailored for Indian Women’s Clothing Manufacturers. This system will handle standard accounting (Double-entry), Indian GST compliance, complex textile inventory (variants, raw materials), and external Job-work tracking, Sales Purchase, payment receipt. ​This SaaS is designed to solve the real ground-level problems of major textile manufacturing hubs like Surat. ​2. What We Already Have Ready ​We are not starting from scratch. I have spent the last 3 months finalizing the business logic and requirements. I will provide the selected agency with: ​Detailed Mindmaps of user flows and application logic. ​Excel-based UI sketches and wireframes. ​Clearly defined Database Architecture logic (Multi-tenancy strategy). Core Architecture Requirements (Non-Negotiable) ​This is a complex financial and inventory system. We have strictly decided on the following database architecture: ​Database: PostgreSQL (Strictly required). ​Multi-Tenancy Strategy: "Schema-per-Tenant". Every new subscriber (Manufacturer) must get an isolated schema for 100% data security. ​Multi-GSTIN Support: A single tenant can create multiple subsidiary companies (GSTINs). ​Shared Masters & Isolated Transactions: Master data (Brokers, Vendors, Customers, Items/Fabrics) will be shared across all subsidiary companies of a tenant. However, transactional data (Sales, Purchases, Inventory, Cash/Bank ledgers) must be strictly isolated at the GSTIN/Company level. ​4. Preferred Tech Stack ​Backend: Node.js (NestJS/Express) OR PHP (Laravel) ​Frontend: React.js OR Vue.js (Must be highly responsive, data-grid heavy, and keyboard-friendly like Excel/Tally) ​Database: PostgreSQL (JSONB support required for product variants like Size/Color/Fabric) ​Hosting Architecture: Hostinger/MilesWeb/ DigitalOcean with proper CI/CD pipelines. ​5. Key Modules to Develop ​Super Admin Dashboard: To manage SaaS subscriptions, billing, and global settings (e.g., GST Slabs, HSN codes). ​Tenant Management: Seamless onboarding of new manufacturers and schema creation. ​Inventory & Job-Work: Bill of Material, make to Stock work flow, Grey fabrics purchase, Various Out side Job process, Assemble Floor, Product Assemble , Finish sales floor. Tracking raw materials, issuing Challans to Dyeing mill/ or Sewing/ embroidery/handwork/ Karigars (job-workers), receiving finished goods, and calculating stock valuation. Bill wise Payment receipt. ​Accounting & GST: Double-entry ledger system, Cash/Bank books, Sales/Purchase invoices, and GST report generation (GSTR-1, 2, 3B format exports). ​6. Agency/Freelancer Requirements ​To be considered for this project, your team MUST have: ​Prior experience in building SaaS applications (specifically Multi-tenant architectures). ​Prior experience with Accounting, ERP, or FinTech applications. ​Strong understanding of row-level security and schema isolation in PostgreSQL. ​7.
