Bilingual (Arabic/English) E-commerce Store with In-Page AI Product Recommender

About the project: We're an AI automation studio building a bilingual (Arabic/English, RTL) e-commerce store for a Qatar-based beauty and personal-care retailer (~8 brands, 500–1000 products). The standout feature is a custom in-page AI product advisor: when a customer opens a product, it recommends the complementary items from the same set/bundle, explains the benefit of each, and offers the bundle directly inside the product page (this is not a generic corner support chatbot). We're looking for an experienced developer to build a fast, polished store and implement this recommendation experience with us (we provide the AI logic and direction; you build the integration and UI). What you'll build: A WooCommerce store with size and color/shade variants (clean, Sephora-style swatches and product display). Full Arabic (RTL) + English bilingual support. The in-page AI product recommender on product pages (complementary-product suggestions from the same bundle, with benefit copy and bundle pricing). Integration with the client's existing ERP (Oracle) via a middleware sync layer inventory in, orders/invoices out, running asynchronously so it never slows the storefront. local payment gateway integration with Apple Pay + cards (e.g., PayTabs / Tap / Dibsy / Skipcash). Coupons, loyalty/points, guest + account checkout, and shipping (third-party courier + own fleet). Performance setup: caching (Redis), CDN (Cloudflare), optimized for speed and scale. Required skills Strong WooCommerce / WordPress development — custom plugins, theme customization, WooCommerce REST/Store APIs. Solid PHP, MySQL, and front-end (HTML/CSS/JS) with a track record of clean, performant, custom UI components. Experience building Arabic / RTL multilingual sites. Third-party API and integration experience (payment gateways, and ideally ERP/middleware sync). Performance optimization (caching, CDN, hosting). Nice to have Experience integrating recommendation engines or LLM/AI APIs into storefronts. Headless commerce experience (React/Node, Medusa, or Next.js) — we may explore a premium headless build. Oracle / ERP integration experience. Beauty/cosmetics or large multi-brand catalog experience.
