Summary

Digital Marketing Specialist (Long-Term Role, Growth Path at US Agency) We're SEO Geek, a US-based digital marketing agency with offices in Missoula, MT and Phoenix, AZ. We run Google Ads, SEO, web development, and Meta/Microsoft Ads for small and mid-sized businesses across North America. We've been in business since 2013 and our growth is almost entirely inbound from organic search, YouTube, and referrals. We're looking for a hungry, coachable marketer to take a meaningful amount of executional work off our senior team's plate. This is not a "do one tiny task and disappear" gig. We want someone we can train into our way of doing things and grow with over time. ——— WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO Pull weekly and monthly reports from Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, and our reporting tools Help build out Google Ads campaigns (keywords, ad copy drafts, extensions, negatives) under direction from our senior PPC team Run competitor research, keyword research, and SERP analysis for new client onboardings Set up and schedule Google Business Profile posts and draft review responses QA our team's work against checklists before it goes to clients Help with on-page SEO updates in WordPress Draft blog briefs, ad copy variations, and email content for review Keep client documents, trackers, and project management tasks up to date in ClickUp Whatever else helps the senior team move faster ——— WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU 1 to 2 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, either at an agency, in-house, or freelance with real client work to show Working knowledge of Google Ads and SEO fundamentals (you don't have to be an expert, but you should know what a keyword match type is and what a meta description does) Comfortable in spreadsheets and reporting tools Strong written English. You'll be drafting copy and client-facing notes. Self-directed. We'll train you, but we can't hold your hand on every task. Reliable overlap with US business hours (at least 3 to 4 hours of overlap with Mountain Time, 9am to 5pm) Hungry. We want someone who treats this like a career, not a side hustle. ——— NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED) Previous agency experience Familiarity with GoHighLevel, SurferSEO, Ahrefs, or SEMrush Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude in a marketing workflow WordPress and basic HTML comfort ——— LOGISTICS Start at 10 to 20 hours per week, ramping to 30+ as you prove yourself Long-term role. We're hiring for retention, not a one-off project. Hourly rate based on your experience and what you can demonstrate in the trial We have a real training program, real SOPs, and a real career path.
