Back-End Developer (Next.js + Stripe)

We're building a high-end marketing and conversion website for a consumer health-tech product, and we need a back-end developer to own the payments, integrations, and data side of the build. This isn't a simple contact-form site. Payments and clean data flow are core to the project, and they need to be built carefully. We have clear direction and full supporting documentation ready to share with the right person (under NDA). The stack Next.js / React (API routes / serverless functions) Stripe (checkout + webhooks) Headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, or similar) Event/analytics instrumentation (e.g. PostHog) Deployment on Vercel What you'll build A Stripe checkout and webhook-based payment confirmation flow (idempotent, reliable) A guided product-selection flow passing clean data into Stripe Integration with a headless CMS for site content A centralised event-tracking layer feeding an analytics tool Server-side form handling with spam protection Who we're looking for Proven Stripe experience — you've built real payment + webhook flows, not just demos Strong with Next.js API routes / serverless and third-party integrations Comfortable working with a database and handling data carefully and securely (this is health-tech) Writes clean, reliable code and thinks about edge cases before they happen Communicates proactively and takes a brief seriously the first time We care more about attitude and output quality than years of experience.
