Remotion Developer – Motion Graphics & Effects for AI Video Pipeline

We run an AI-powered documentary video production platform that automatically generates faceless YouTube content across multiple languages (English, Spanish, German) and niches including military history, true crime, and brand documentaries. The platform uses Remotion for video rendering, deployed via AWS Lambda and Railway, with RunPod for AI workloads. The core pipeline is fully working. We now need someone to take the visual quality of our video output to a professional, broadcast-ready level. This is purely a frontend/motion layer project — the infrastructure is already in place. What You'll Be Delivering Reusable Remotion components for motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, kinetic text, and chapter transitions Polished visual effects: parallax on images, Ken Burns, zoom punches, glitch effects, cinematic color grading overlays A modular animation system so effects can be applied dynamically based on content type and tone Integration of additional stock content APIs beyond Pexels/Pixabay (Getty, Storyblocks, Artgrid, or similar) Royalty-free/copyright-free music library integration with mood and tempo tagging for automatic soundtrack selection Professional sound design layer: ambient audio, whooshes, impact hits, and transition sounds triggered from the video timeline All components must render correctly at scale on AWS Lambda (headless Chromium constraints apply) Clean, documented, maintainable code — this will be actively expanded after delivery Tech Stack Remotion (React-based video rendering) — must have real experience with this Node.js / TypeScript AWS Lambda (serverless rendering) Railway (job queue / backend) RunPod (GPU workloads) FFmpeg (post-processing) You Are a Good Fit If You Have shipped real Remotion projects — we will ask for examples before hiring Understand video production principles: timing, easing, rhythm, pacing Can build reusable, parameterized components that work across different content types Know how to work within Lambda's rendering constraints (asset bundling, no local file system, etc.) Are comfortable integrating third-party APIs and handling licensing logic Can start immediately and commit to a 1–2 week delivery — this is non-negotiable Nice to Have Background in After Effects or motion design Experience with AI video pipelines or content automation Knowledge of music licensing APIs (Artlist, Epidemic Sound, Musicbed) Experience with multilingual video production Timeline We need the first working version delivered within 1–2 weeks maximum.
