Summary

We're looking for an experienced paid media strategist to consult on and help build our social commerce ad infrastructure. This is primarily a strategy and setup role — you'll be advising on campaign architecture, guiding decisions, and working hands-on during the campaign creation phase. You'll be working on a U.S.-based brand with an active TikTok Shop, Meta Shop, and Shopify storefront. We have content, we have products, and we have budget. What we need is someone who knows exactly how to structure paid social commerce campaigns to drive real revenue and can help us build it the right way from the start. What You'll Be Doing: - Auditing our current TikTok Shop and Meta paid setup and identifying gaps - Recommending campaign structures, budget allocation, and bidding strategies - Guiding the creation of GMV Max and product promotion campaigns on TikTok Shop - Advising on product selection, ROI targets, and creative requirements per campaign - Helping us build a repeatable paid media playbook we can operate ongoing - Providing strategic input on Meta Shop campaigns as a secondary channel - Joining periodic check-ins to review performance and advise on optimizations You're the Right Person If You: - Have strategic experience with TikTok Shop paid campaigns including GMV Max and can advise on how to set them up correctly, not just run them - Understand TikTok's commerce algorithm well enough to explain why certain structures work and others don't - Can translate performance data into clear strategic recommendations - Have worked with brands selling physical products through social commerce channels - Are comfortable advising on Meta Shop and Instagram conversion campaigns - Communicate clearly, think in systems, and can hand off a playbook that a team can execute Nice to Have: - Experience with consumer product or lifestyle brands - Familiarity with TikTok Shop affiliate programs and creator whitelisting - Understanding of Shopify attribution and cross-platform tracking - Experience building paid media frameworks for small-to-mid size brands
