Marketing Operations Assistant — AI Content, SEO & Social Media (Remote, Part-Time)
Worldwide
About the Role We're a UK-based AI marketing platform serving the international relocation industry. As we scale our client base, we need a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to handle the production side of our marketing pipeline — turning AI-generated content into polished, published assets across video, images, blogs, and social media. This is a behind-the-scenes execution role. You won't be dealing with clients directly — everything runs through our founder. What we need is someone who follows processes precisely, spots errors before they go live, and gets things done without hand-holding. What You'll Do QA AI outputs — review AI-generated blog posts, social captions, and image briefs for accuracy, formatting, and brand consistency before they go live Publish blog posts — upload and format content in WordPress with correct headings, images, meta descriptions, internal links, and basic on-page SEO best practices Video editing — light editing of client-supplied footage using CapCut or similar; add branded lower-thirds, intros/outros, and captions Image production — create branded social media visuals using Canva and Placid templates Social media scheduling — queue approved content in Buffer across LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and Facebook following platform-specific best practices What We're Looking For Experience with WordPress (publishing, not development) Comfortable with video editing — CapCut, Premiere, or similar Canva proficient — you can work from a template and not break it Basic SEO knowledge — you understand meta titles, meta descriptions, heading structure (H1/H2), alt text, and internal linking. You don't need to be an SEO strategist, but you know why these things matter Social media literacy — you understand how LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Business Profile work differently from each other, what good engagement looks like, and why posting time and format matters per platform Detail-oriented — you notice when a font is wrong or a logo is off-centre Conversational written English — you're not writing copy, but you need to spot obvious errors Reliable with deadlines — we run on a content calendar and timing matters Bonus: experience with Buffer, Placid, or any AI content tools What to Expect 20 hours/week, flexible scheduling (core overlap with UK time preferred) Clear SOPs and templates provided — we don't expect you to guess Long-term engagement as we grow — this role expands with the business Direct communication with the founder only
