Full-Stack Mobile Fitness App Development – Secure Auth, Dashboard Improvements & Feature Completion

Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Flutter and Node.js developer to help complete and improve an existing fitness application. The mobile application has already been developed in Flutter, and the backend is built with Node.js. The project is partially completed, but several important features—especially around authentication, user management, and overall application flow—still need to be finalized and polished. Scope of Work Authentication & User Management The highest priority is completing and securing the authentication system across both the mobile app and backend. Responsibilities include: Reviewing the existing authentication implementation. Completing user registration and login flows. Implementing secure access and refresh token handling. Password reset and account recovery functionality. Email verification (if required). Session management and user authorization. Proper validation and error handling throughout authentication-related processes. Ensuring security best practices are followed on both the client and server side. Flutter Mobile Application Improve existing screens and user flows. Fix authentication-related UI/UX issues. Connect missing API endpoints. Resolve bugs and inconsistencies. Improve overall app stability and performance. Ensure a smooth and professional user experience across different devices. Node.js Backend Complete missing authentication endpoints and logic. Review API structure and improve maintainability where needed. Ensure proper authorization and role-based access controls. Fix backend bugs and edge cases. Improve error handling and API response consistency. Verify database interactions and user-related operations. Admin Dashboard Additional development is required within the dashboard/admin panel, including: User management features. Authentication and access control improvements. Integration with backend services. Dashboard functionality enhancements and bug fixes. General UI and workflow improvements. Requirements Strong experience with Flutter. Strong experience with Node.js and REST APIs. Experience implementing secure authentication systems. Familiarity with JWT, access tokens, refresh tokens, and authorization workflows. Ability to work with existing codebases and improve unfinished projects. Good communication and attention to detail.
