We are searching for a versatile and experienced writer and editor to draft engaging editorial content centered on lifestyle, longevity, well-being, and scientific trends. This is an ongoing opportunity for a writer to become a proactive contributor who is comfortable executing assigned briefs while also pitching original editorial pieces or curated articles. Responsibilities: Write short and long-form articles and news posts on a regular basis Write engaging lifestyle content and headlines Sift through recent research studies, identifying new research findings of interest to a health and well-being-oriented audience Source captivating photos to supplement written content Qualifications: Proven work experience in communications and/or editorial Strong verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and independent Experience (and links/samples) writing or editing content for newspapers, websites, blogs, magazines, or media outlets Versatile, tech-savvy Experience with translating research findings and fact-checking data Understands the AP style guide Experienced in working under tight deadlines Photo research experience a plus Subject matter expertise in health, nutrition, exercise science, or longevity a plus
