Summary

About Prints of Love Prints of Love helps people celebrate the moments that matter most — weddings, milestones, births, and every gathering worth remembering. Our customers are planners, hosts, and gift-givers who care deeply about presentation and beauty. We create personalized print products that become keepsakes: the invitation that sets the tone for a wedding, the thank-you card that someone keeps on their desk for years. Role Overview We are looking for a Product Designer with 2-3 years of e-commerce experience to help shape the next generation of the Prints of Love customer experience. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to design intuitive, conversion-focused experiences across our website and customer journey. This role is ideal for someone who understands both user experience and business outcomes, with a strong focus on usability, conversion optimization, and mobile-first design. Responsibilities Design user-centric experiences across key customer journeys — product pages, customization flows, cart, checkout, and beyond. Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that reflect both brand beauty and conversion best practices. Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth implementation within our Next.js frontend, maintaining design integrity through to production. Own the visual quality bar — push back when designs feel off-brand, and advocate for experiences that are both functional and beautiful. Conduct competitive research across wedding, gifting, stationery, and celebration brands to inform design decisions. Contribute to and maintain a design system, component library, and UX standards that scale with the business. Work closely with stakeholders to translate business goals into intuitive, joyful customer experiences. Requirements 3–5 years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio that reflects strong visual taste — not just solid UX. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work. Portfolio must include work for consumer lifestyle, gifting, wedding/event, stationery, or celebration-adjacent brands. Portfolios without relevant examples will not be reviewed. Proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows, including component-based design systems. Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and mobile-first experiences. Experience working alongside frontend development teams and translating designs into production-ready specs. Strong communicator who can articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and push back constructively when needed. Nice to Have Demonstrated eye for color-forward, joyful, premium-feeling visual design (show us in your portfolio or personal work). Proven track record of improving conversion rates through design, with data to back it up. Experience with Magento-based e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with Next.js, React-based applications, or modern frontend architectures. Experience with A/B testing, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and analytics-driven design. Understanding of SEO considerations in e-commerce design. What Success Looks Like Customers feel the brand immediately — the site looks and feels like a place where celebrations are made. Improved usability and conversion rates across key customer journeys. Faster, cleaner design-to-development collaboration on our Next.js migration. A scalable design system that makes future work faster without sacrificing brand quality. The team trusts your design judgment and looks to you to raise the visual bar. Please include a portfolio link or PDF. Highlight 2–3 examples of work for consumer or lifestyle brands — ideally in the wedding, gifting, celebration, or stationery space. We want to see not just your process, but your taste. Bonus points if you include a brief note about why this role resonates with you personally.
