Operations Assistant for eCommerce Company

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to help support our fulfillment and customer operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational problems, working with logistics partners, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Resolve order issues escalated by the Customer Support team, including submitting and managing carrier claims for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments • Communicate with 3PL partners regarding order issues, fulfillment delays, and inventory discrepancies • Monitor daily fulfillment activity and proactively identify potential issues • Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and operational records with a high degree of accuracy • Support ad hoc operational projects and process improvements as needed • Bonus: Experience building automations using Shopify Flow Requirements: • Experience working with Shopify • Prior ecommerce fulfillment and operations experience • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Work Hours • Monday - Friday between 9 AM–5 PM EST • We are open to part-time candidates with at least 20 hours/week availability Why Join Us: • Growth Opportunities: Opportunities for growth and career development in a rapidly expanding startup. • Innovative Environment: Be part of a fast-paced and forward-thinking startup that encourages creativity and innovation. • Collaborative Culture: Work in a supportive and collaborative team environment. • Impact Building: Play a crucial role in the success and growth of the company • Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. • Location Freedom: Remote work opportunity.
