Amazon Supply Chain Manager

Summary

About the role Amazon is one of our most important sales channels, and we need someone to own it end-to-end from a supply chain standpoint. You'll be the person who makes sure we always have the right amount of stock in the right place — never stranded, never stocked out, never bleeding storage fees — across both FBA and FBM. Working closely with our Head of Supply Chain, you'll be the eyes and ears on everything happening with our Amazon sales: tracking trends, pulling the data, and turning it into the projections that drive how much we produce and ship. You'll also keep the account itself healthy and running smoothly — orders fulfilled on time, listings live, metrics in the green. In short: if it touches Amazon and it touches supply chain, it's yours. What you'll own FBA & FBM inventory planning Work hand-in-hand with the Head of Supply Chain to determine how much stock FBA and FBM need across every SKU. Calculate replenishment quantities and timing based on sales velocity, lead times, and Amazon's restock/storage limits. Create and manage FBA inbound shipments — from shipment plans to carton labeling to tracking delivery into Amazon's network. Balance inventory between FBA and FBM to protect availability while controlling storage and fulfillment costs. Prevent and resolve stranded inventory, aged inventory, and long-term storage fee exposure. Sales data, trends & projections Track all Amazon sales data and trends — velocity, seasonality, promotions, deal events (Prime Day, etc.), and new-product ramps. Build clean reporting from Seller Central (Business Reports, Brand Analytics, inventory reports) that the Head of Supply Chain can use for production and purchasing projections. Flag emerging trends early — both opportunities (a SKU taking off) and risks (a looming stockout or slow mover). Account & store management Manage the day-to-day health of the Seller Central account. Make sure orders — especially FBM — are fulfilled on time and accurately. Monitor and protect key account metrics: Account Health Rating, IPI (Inventory Performance Index), Order Defect Rate, Late Shipment Rate, and Buy Box ownership. Keep listings live and healthy (no suppressed or stranded listings) and resolve issues fast. Handle FBA reconciliation and reimbursement claims for lost or damaged inventory. Coordination Be the bridge between Amazon operations and the broader supply chain / production team. Coordinate with [Sourcing / 3PL / prep partners] to make sure inbound stock flows smoothly into Amazon. What you'll bring Must-haves [2–5]+ years managing supply chain, inventory, or operations for an Amazon seller — hands-on in Seller Central. Deep, practical understanding of FBA and FBM: shipment creation, restock/storage limits, IPI, and account health metrics. Strong inventory forecasting and replenishment skills — comfortable in spreadsheets and turning sales data into stock decisions. A sharp eye for trends and the discipline to keep clean, reliable reporting. Highly organized and proactive — you catch a stockout or a stranded listing before it becomes a problem. Comfortable owning a channel solo and working closely with a Head of Supply Chain. Nice-to-haves Experience selling supplements on Amazon — familiarity with category compliance, ungating, COAs/documentation, and listing requirements. Experience with inventory/forecasting tools or Amazon software (e.g. [Inventory Planner, SoStocked, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, RestockPro]). Background working in a subscription / Subscribe & Save context. Experience with FBA reimbursement / reconciliation tools or services. What success looks like First 90 days Full command of our Amazon SKUs, stock positions, and fulfillment setup. Reliable weekly reporting feeding the Head of Supply Chain's projections. No surprise stockouts or stranded inventory on your watch. First 6–12 months FBA and FBM stock levels consistently dialed in — high availability with minimal storage fee waste. Account health metrics strong and stable. Trend data accurate and trusted enough to drive production and purchasing decisions.
