Remote Microsoft Intune & Apple Business Manager Engineer (Device Enrollment Lead)

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune & Apple Business Manager Engineer to lead a Phase 1 mobile device enrollment and migration project. This is a remote, engineering-led role where you will design, guide, and validate the deployment, while an onsite team handles physical device work (resets and user coordination). This role is ideal for someone who has led Intune + ABM deployments at scale and can confidently direct technicians during live rollout. 🎯 Scope of Work (Phase 1 – Immediate) Migration from legacy MDM (e.g., MaaS360) to Microsoft Intune Enrollment of ~50–60 iOS devices via Apple Business Manager (ABM) Implementation of Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) Supervised device enrollment with enforced management Automated deployment of: Security policies Applications Email configurations 🧭 Your Role (Remote Engineering Lead) You will own the technical success of the deployment while guiding the onsite team. 🔧 1. Intune & ABM Architecture (Pre-Deployment) Configure and validate: Apple Business Manager integration with Intune Enrollment profiles (ADE) Supervised mode configuration Design the end-to-end enrollment workflow: Device reset → ABM assignment → Intune enrollment → user-ready 👥 2. Guidance to Onsite Team Provide clear runbooks for: Device wiping/reset ABM device assignment Enrollment steps Lead kickoff/training sessions Support technicians during deployment windows ⚡ 3. Real-Time Troubleshooting Support live deployment issues: Enrollment failures ABM sync issues Policy/app deployment problems Quickly diagnose and resolve rollout blockers ✅ 4.
