Help with a WordPress SMTP Plugin connecting through AWS

Summary

I have a WordPress website that is using a plug-in called WP Mail SMTP. This plug-in connecting with my Amazon Web Services account to use its SMTP service. However, I am getting an error, when testing the Contact Form. See the red section in attached file. I am looking for someone that is familiar with the Amazon Web Services to help solve this.
