# Expert WordPress Designer & Conversion Optimization Specialist (Long-Term) We are looking for an expert WordPress designer and website optimization specialist to become a long-term part of our team. This is NOT an SEO role. We already have SEO resources and a large established website with over 1,500 pages that have been built over many years. The SEO foundation and existing page structure must be preserved. We are looking for someone who can improve everything around it from a design, user experience, and conversion standpoint. ## The Challenge The website contains a significant amount of existing content, landing pages, and SEO value that cannot be disrupted. The goal is to modernize the website, improve the user experience, and increase conversions without negatively impacting existing rankings, URLs, or SEO assets. ## Responsibilities * Improve and modernize an existing WordPress website * Redesign key pages while preserving SEO value * Create high-converting landing pages * Improve mobile and desktop user experience * Improve website conversion rates * Optimize quote request forms and lead generation flows * Improve calls-to-action and customer journeys * Review competitor websites and recommend improvements * Build new pages and marketing assets when needed * Make proactive recommendations to improve conversions and user experience ## What We Are Looking For We want someone who can look at a website and immediately identify: * Why visitors are not converting * How to improve the customer journey * How to increase quote requests and leads * How to improve trust and credibility * How to improve mobile usability * How to turn service pages into high-performing landing pages We are not looking for someone who simply waits for tasks. We want someone who thinks strategically, identifies opportunities, and continuously improves the website. ## Required Experience * Expert-level WordPress experience * Strong UI/UX design experience * Strong Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experience * Experience redesigning large websites * Experience working with custom WordPress websites * Experience improving lead generation websites * Understanding of how to improve websites without damaging SEO performance Please provide: * Examples of your best WordPress websites * Before-and-after redesign examples * Examples where you improved conversion rates * Experience with large websites (500+ pages preferred) * Any examples of websites where you improved mobile conversions or lead generation This is intended to be a long-term relationship of approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours and responsibilities for the right candidate.
