Talking-Head Reel Editor (Captions + B-Roll) — Ongoing, Per-Reel

We're a digital marketing agency looking for a skilled short-form video editor to cut "talking reels" for our clients. These are talking-head style reels where someone is speaking to camera, and your job is to turn raw footage into a polished, scroll-stopping reel that flows and looks great. This is ongoing work paid per finished reel. We have a steady flow of footage and want an editor we can build a long-term relationship with. What You'll Do You'll be given a batch of raw footage for a client and you'll be responsible for: Piecing together the talking footage so it flows and makes sense. You'll work from a wide variety of clips and need a strong sense for which takes to use, where to cut, and how to build a clean, natural-sounding edit. Adding clean, accurate captions to every reel. Captions are required on all videos. Adding b-roll throughout. First pull from the footage we provide. If there's no relevant b-roll in our footage, you'll source b-roll (stock or otherwise) that genuinely matches what the person is talking about. Making each reel feel intentional and high quality, with good pacing, timing, and flow from start to finish. Requirements Proven experience editing short-form talking-head / reel content Strong skills in CapCut Sharp eye for pacing, cuts, and flow Experience adding captions and sourcing relevant b-roll Reliable communication and ability to hit deadlines Comfortable working from raw, unstructured footage To Apply Please send: A portfolio with links to talking-head reels you've edited.
