Expert AI Consultant & Engineer

We're a fast-moving direct-to-consumer e-commerce business looking for an AI Expert who can build, not just advise. Someone who can walk into any problem we throw at them - from automating workflows to creative production to data analysis - and ship a working solution. This isn't a one-off project. We want to transition our entire operation into the AI era, and we want you alongside us for the long haul. What you'll do: - Identify where AI can save us time, money, or unlock new capability across the business - Build the solutions yourself — automations, tools, integrations, internal apps, AI-assisted workflows - Translate vague business problems into shipped, working systems - Upskill our team so AI becomes part of how we operate day to day What we're looking for: - Proven ability to build AI solutions end-to-end, not just strategise - Strong grasp of LLMs, automation tools, APIs, and the current AI tooling landscape - Practical experience integrating AI into real business workflows (bonus if e-commerce) - A generalist builder's mindset — comfortable solving problems across very different domains - Self-directed, resourceful, and able to turn "can AI do X?" into a working answer fast - Clear communicator who can explain technical things to a non-technical team Nice to have: - Shopify / e-commerce platform experience - A portfolio of things you've actually built To apply: Send us examples of AI solutions you've built and a short note on how you'd approach our business.
