Part-Time GCP AI/ML Solutions Architect – Presales & Technical Advisory - Americas

Overview We are seeking an experienced GCP AI/ML Solutions Architect to support enterprise AI modernization initiatives in a part-time, remote role. You will lead presales discovery, architect Gemini Enterprise and AI Agent solutions, and help clients design scalable agentic AI platforms and workflows. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect passionate about enterprise AI, multi-agent systems, cloud modernization, and strategic technical advisory. Responsibilities Lead discovery workshops and client conversations to identify AI and automation opportunities Translate business goals into scalable technical architectures and AI strategies Design Gemini Enterprise, ADK, and multi-agent solutions leveraging GCP services Architect integrations across BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Firestore, RAG, and enterprise applications Create architecture diagrams, SOWs, ROMs, proposals, and technical solution narratives Deliver demos, executive presentations, and technical advisory sessions Define governance, observability, monitoring, evaluation, and responsible AI strategies Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to support opportunity progression and solution feasibility Build rapid POCs, accelerators, and demo environments to support presales cycles and client workshops Provide hands-on technical guidance to accelerate engineering team ramp-up and implementation readiness Stay current with emerging AI/ML, agentic AI, Gemini, and cloud technologies to continuously evolve solution strategies and reusable patterns Required Experience & Skills 7+ years in cloud architecture, solution design, or technical consulting 4+ years supporting presales, discovery, estimation, and proposal development Strong hands-on engineering capabilities across cloud, AI/ML, and modern application architectures Ability to quickly prototype and build working POCs to validate architecture approaches and demonstrate business value Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Firestore, and Cloud SQL Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, vector search, and agentic AI architectures Experience designing custom agents, orchestration workflows, and scalable AI solutions Familiarity with Gemini Enterprise, Agent Studio, ADK, MCP integrations, and AI governance concepts Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud security best practices Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and executive engagement skills Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-native architecture patterns Engagement Details Part-time Independent Contractor role Remote within the United States or Canada Flexible schedule, approximately 15–25 hours/week initially Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunity for expanded engagement based on performance and pipeline growth What We’re Looking For We are looking for a strategic architect who can bridge business and technology while helping enterprises adopt modern AI and agentic workflows.
