Our work is defined by precision, craftsmanship, and a refined point of view carried through every drawing we produce. We are looking for a CAD drafter who treats documentation as a craft and can keep pace with an active project pipeline. The Role We need an experienced CAD drafter to produce clean, accurate, fully coordinated drawing sets for a large expedited luxury residential interior project. You will translate concept drawings, hand sketches, and design intent into precise, construction-ready documentation. This is a hands-on production role for someone who is fast, meticulous, and self-directed — comfortable owning a drawing set from redline to issued package with minimal hand-holding. We are needing a large set of drawings in a short amount of time. This is a full-time contract engagement running from your start date through August 2026, with strong potential for continued, project-based work beyond that term for the right person. What You’ll Do Produce and maintain complete interior drawing sets: floor plans, demolition plans, furniture/FF&E plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting and electrical plans, elevations, and finish plans. Draft detailed millwork, cabinetry, and built-in drawings, including sections and details suitable for fabrication and construction. Convert designer sketches, concept layouts, and markups into accurate, scaled CAD drawings. Incorporate redlines and revisions quickly and accurately, maintaining version control and clean revision tracking. Coordinate dimensions, finishes, and specifications with the design team to keep sets internally consistent and error-free. Maintain firm drawing standards — layers, line weights, title blocks, annotation, and sheet organization — across every project. Prepare issued packages for client review, contractors, and trades, and keep drawing files organized and properly archived. What You Bring 3+ years of CAD drafting experience in residential interiors or interior architecture (luxury / high-end experience strongly preferred). Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp and/or Revit is a plus. Demonstrated ability to produce construction documentation, including millwork and cabinetry detailing. Working knowledge of residential construction methods, dimensioning conventions, and basic code considerations. Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for clean, accurate, well-organized drawings. Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a remote setting. Clear communicator who can take direction, ask the right questions, and turn work around quickly. Nice to Have Experience with 3D renderings. Familiarity with FF&E specification workflows and design-software tools (e.g., Programa). Experience preparing drawings for custom fabricators and high-end trades. An eye for design and a genuine interest in luxury residential work. Engagement Details Full-time contract (approx. 40 hours/week) from start through August 2026.
