React UI Developer for E-commerce Platform (Short-Term with Potential Long-Term Opportunity)

We are looking for a skilled React UI Developer to support a fast-paced e-commerce platform initiative. This is a 1–2 month engagement with a clear opportunity to transition into a long-term / permanent role based on performance and alignment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in execution-focused environments, can quickly ramp up, and deliver clean, scalable UI solutions that enhance user experience and conversion. ⸻ What You’ll Be Working On: * Building and enhancing modern, responsive UI components using React * Translating design concepts (Figma/Adobe XD) into high-quality frontend experiences * Optimizing UI for performance, speed, and usability * Supporting key e-commerce flows such as: * Product listing pages (PLP) * Product detail pages (PDP) * Cart and checkout experience * Collaborating with backend/API teams to integrate data seamlessly * Improving overall UI consistency and component reusability ⸻ Key Responsibilities: * Develop reusable and scalable React components * Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility * Maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code * Identify and resolve UI/UX issues proactively * Work in an agile, collaborative environment with quick turnaround cycles ⸻ Required Skills & Experience: * Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) * Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar) * Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles * Experience integrating with REST APIs * Familiarity with component libraries and UI frameworks (Material UI, Tailwind, etc.) * Strong attention to detail and design accuracy ⸻ Nice to Have: * Prior experience in e-commerce platforms * Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering * Understanding of performance optimization techniques * Exposure to A/B testing or conversion optimization ⸻ Engagement Details: * Duration: 1–2 months (initial contract) * Commitment: Part-time or Full-time (flexible based on availability) * Location: Remote * Potential: High likelihood of long-term / permanent opportunity
